...Not for very long, but I guess it's time I call this a "break" as I haven't been on DA in more than a month. At this time, I'm unsure of when I'll be able to get back to DA full time, as I'd like to. It may be a week or two, or it could be more than another month. I have many reasons, but mostly because my work schedule is changing, I finished all Animal Care Technologies programs and I'm now certified in Outpatient Veterinary Nursing, Inpatient Veterinary Nursing, Pet Resort Services & Veterinary Client Relations... and now I get to start a year's work of school again , I also just finished a redesign and slight remodel of my room and another room in the house that included more painting than I care to think about, detailing, scrubbing and cleaning, building shelves, going through every piece of clothing I own and donating about 1/4 of everything, and just a ridiculous amount of other things.
Also, since I lost my last guinea pig Apple in October 2011 at nearly 7 years old, there has been a bit of a guinea pig-shaped hole in my life that needed to be filled. (: I've been preparing for just the right piggie for about 2 months now. I've made an adorable little C & C cage with separate "kitchen" area, a purchased "Piggy BedSpread" & a lot of handmade accessories too.
Soo.... yeah, it's gonna be awhile! I truly miss being here on DA, all the springtime competitions I'm missing out on and all the friends I have here that I haven't talked to in awhile.
